Graf

History

Back in the early 80's Cork was supposedly where it was at in Ireland 
as regards graf, Heads used to come here from all over the country to 
check new styles and check out pieces all over the city 
then for some reason, things got bad and interest was lost in the whole scene 
In the last few years only 1 crew was active in the city - Artists Beyond Control,
which had 2 members - Tribe and Saor , tribe was and is primarily a tagger, but 
Saor who now also goes by the name "Mr Whu" primarily concentrated on Pieces
a "prime" example for years of his abilities was the front of prime time clothing 
shop on washington street 
Over the last year more and more taggers have appeared and more pieces are now 
appearing, and now there are 3 main crews 

ABC (artists beyond control)
DNA (deadly nocturnal artists)
ETC (Enigma tagging crew)    

examples of there work can be seen all over the city, the area around prime time 
the car park off douglas street at the back of the Fiat dealership
the GAA ground in Bishopstown and my personal favourite - the Raging Bull Bar
